Find Your Beach ..... Pura Vida! "This is Living" 


Costa Rica boasts 1 300 km of beaches so it it easy to find your perfect beach! ALL Costarican beaches are free for locals and visitors to visit and enjoy... no such a thing as a private beach in Costa Rica. Here are 5 awesome beaches located within  a 10 - 20 minute drive from the condo. 



Playa Tamarindo  
3km stretch of sandy beach, warm water and stunning sunsets.  This beach is well-known for beginner to intermediate surfers. Check out this live cam at Witch's Rock Surf Camp. Beach is also great for boogie boarding or body surfing and children will love the gentle waves as they reach the shore. We especially love to take long walks and the enjoy ocean breeze. There are many great restaurants and shopping in this bustling beach town. 





Playa Conchal 
2.5 mile crescent shaped beach
The clear, calm waters makes it perfect for swimming and snorkelling. 
There are no services at this beach so pack accordingly. 





Playa Avellanas (Little Hawaii)
This beach boasts some of the best surfing spots drawing people from all over the world. If you don't like surfing take a long walk along the shore and find a quiet place to hang out. 
Lola's is the only restaurant located on this beach. 





Playa Langosta
Langosta is a hidden jewel out side of the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo. Intermediate surfers prefer Langosta, with the waves breaking from left and right. It is also at the river mouth giving beach goers an nice place to relax in the water. 




Playa Grande
If you want to avoid crowds go to Playa Grande and find your piece of beach to relax in the sun or to surf. This beach is part of the National Park Las Baulas which is a protected area for the nesting of Leatherback turtles. This beach is off limits after dark unless you are with a guide. Walk close to shore on this beach to avoid stepping on turtle eggs. 



No surfboard, No worries ~ there are numerous place to rent surfboards & boogie boards
